Dear Mary Lin Families,

TL;DR:

• The Fun(d) Run ENDS this Friday, September 18th

• We're at ~70% of our $100,000 goal — so close, but we need a final push

• Please share your student's donation link with grandparents, family, and friends — they can give directly, no account needed

• Join us at Back-to-School Meet & Eat @ Moxie Burger on Wednesday, 5:30 – 8:00 pm. RSVP Here.

Here's a bit more detail below, plus how to join us for race day.

Where the money goes: over 50% funds Educational Operations, ~25% goes to Staff Support & Appreciation, and ~15% funds Grants supporting school programs. We also want to thank everyone who came to our recent PTO board meeting, where the community reviewed and approved next year's budget — more details can be found here. That conversation is exactly why we're confident asking for your support: we talked openly about how these funds get used, and it's clear how directly they support our students, teachers, and school programs.

Also — come say hi at Meet & Eat! Join fellow Mary Lin families for our Back-to-School Meet & Eat at Moxie Burger this Wednesday, 5:30 – 8:00 pm -  a casual way to connect before the school year gets even busier. RSVP Here.

Haven't set up your student yet? Visit gofundschools.org, log in with your Google account, register your student(s), and share their link. There's no minimum; any amount helps, and this is really about participation.

Join us for race day! Come cheer on your Rockets on Friday, Sept. 18:

• Pre-K, Kinder, 1st Grade: 9:00 – 9:45 am
• 2nd & 3rd Grades: 10:00 – 10:45 am
• 4th & 5th Grades: 11:00 – 11:45 am

Arrive 10 minutes early with a Picture ID to sign in. Bring a chair and something to make noise with (pom poms, cowbells, etc.)! Our partner Summit Coffee will be on site with coffee and lemonade for parents.

Thank you for being part of the Mary Lin community - let's finish strong!

Warmly,
The Mary Lin PTO
